Thoroughbred Figure Skating Club

Where Friends and Ice Meet!
Figure skating is a very challenging sport. At its best, it is an avenue for artistic expression, athletic accomplishment, and emotional maturity unequaled by any other sport. But with these rewards, come great risks. There is a tension between the athletic, artistic, and self-esteem aspects of figure skating that other athletes cannot relate to. And there are commitments of time and money that skaters understand only too well.
The Thoroughbred Figure Skating Club works to address these issues. The club is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for skaters to share with other skaters in a professional and social setting.
Since TFSC is a member of U.S. Figure Skating, TFSC directly facilitates U.S. Figure Skating programs, test sessions, sanctioned competitions, and shows for its members. With full TFSC membership comes membership in the U.S. Figure Skating organization.
TFSC also offers a Junior Activity Membership (JAM), which enables members to participate in the club's social events without the testing and competitive benefits of U.S. Figure Skating membership. Rates as a JAM are at a reduced price.
"The club is great. A lot of my friends are members and I love hanging out with them at the rink and at competitions." Rachael H.
